We took a couple of days to pop over to Lake Bled to see the lake bled island church and Bled Castle. We stayed in the lovely boutique hotel Triglav which over looks the lake and island. It's a lovely place and was perfect for us as it had a pool for the boys and sauna for Melynda and wonderful dining room. Day one we skated and had cake and day two we split up so M and A could go snowshoeing and F and I could go shoot some footage and have cake. We met up later to explore Bled Castle. The weather was eerily foggy and rainy but the lake had frozen for the first time in four years allowing for skating and swans.
